7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week, including 2 weekends.

Job Description

Join our team at a well-respected medical center as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit. You will play a crucial role in providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families as they recover from surgery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1, providing high-quality, focused care.
• Perform basic wound care, maintain surgical drains, and manage nasogastric tubes and chest tubes.
• Start IVs and monitor patients effectively, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Utilize various medical equipment such as IV pumps, telemetry, and EKG machines.
• Participate in bedside shift reports and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license and BLS certification are required.
• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
