A Letter From ARMStaffing Vice-President Regarding COVID-19 Vaccine

To our Travel, Local, and Per Diem staff,

Thank you to every one of you who are working relentlessly to keep our country healthy, healing, and hopeful.

In regards to the COVID-19 vaccine

Everyone here at ARMStaffing cares deeply for your wellbeing and the wellbeing of patients whom you care for. We have not mandated you receive the COVID-19 vaccine and are not mandating it at this time.

A look ahead

As we head into the Fall, COVID-19 cases are increasing. Because of this, we are seeing a rising number of facilities requiring our travel nurses to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in order to maintain or begin their assignment. It is safe to assume that a large majority of, if not all facilities will adopt these policies by the end of the year. We understand that these sweeping changes may conflict with the choices you’ve made regarding the vaccine.

Our recruitment team is second to none. If you’re a travel nurse with ARMS, then you know them and have worked closely with them. Rest assured that each recruiter is working tirelessly to ensure that your next assignment is the best that it can be. If your decision to not receive the COVID-19 vaccine prohibits you from taking an assignment at a specific facility, we thank you for patience as our team works to finds the very best next option.

To help our team get a head start on finding the best assignment for you, please kindly share with them your current vaccination status. This helps our recruiters prepare for which facilities you may be eligible to work at. We understand that your vaccination status is a personal choice and can be a private matter. Again, we thank you for your patience as we navigate these waters together, and adjust to changing currents of the COVID-19 precautions and safety measures set by the facilities with which we work.

If you have questions regarding this matter, please speak with our Human Resources team; they can help you learn more about your options.

Thank you,

Hope Bender, Vice-President
