Registered Nurse - Med/Tele Unit

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. Flexible schedules with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend are required. Must work at least one holiday per contract.

Job Description

This is a role within a brand new Med/Tele unit consisting of 22 beds. The position requires flexibility according to the needs of the facility's schedule, and may involve floating to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Tele unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care plans.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience with at least 1 recent year in med surg/tele.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
