Registered Nurse - Med/Tele Night Shift

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 or 48 hours per week available, with requirements of 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our brand new Med/Tele unit with 22 beds, where you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with a team to deliver comprehensive medical and telemetry care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Med/Tele unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medication as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of acute hospital experience, with at least 1 year in med/surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license and AHA BLS certification are required.
