Registered Nurse - Med/Tele

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a rotation between night and day shifts available. Candidates must commit to working at least one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Holiday work is also required during the contract period.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a brand-new Med/Tele unit with a total of 22 beds. The contract duration is 16 weeks, with both 36 and 48 hours per week available. The role may involve floating to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Med/Tele unit.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and conduct assessments.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.
• Exhibit flexibility in scheduling and assignments as facility needs change.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience, with at least 1 year in Med-Surg/Tele.
• Active NY RN license is required.
• AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
