Registered Nurse - Med/Tele

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P with a rotation. 36 or 48 hours per week available, including 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. A minimum of 1 holiday is required during the contract period.

Job Description

Join our brand new Med/Tele unit with 22 beds. We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while managing multiple patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a med/tele unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in the coordination of care for patients.
• Document patient care and progress in EPIC.
• Be flexible and willing to float to other units if needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of acute hospital experience, with at least 1 recent year in med/surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license and AHA BLS certification.
