Registered Nurse - Med/Tele Unit (Nights)

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 or 48 hours per week available, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join a brand new Med/Tele unit with 22 beds, where you will have the opportunity to provide top-notch nursing care in a dynamic environment. This position involves working with diverse patient populations in a fast-paced setting, delivering compassionate and holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to med-surg/tele patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate patient care plans.
• Provide patient and family education on health management.
• Support charge nursing duties as requested.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience, with at least 1 recent year in med-surg/tele.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
