Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with D/N rotating shifts as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The RN will provide direct patient care and support for patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. There will be potential to float to other units as needed, ensuring quality care for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and manage patient education regarding treatment plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
