Job Description

We are seeking a skilled L&D Registered Nurse to take on the role of Charge Nurse. This position involves working in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit and managing a team while ensuring quality patient care. Candidates must possess an active AK RN license and have previous Charge Nurse experience or be willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of L&D department operations on assigned shifts
• Manage patient care for high-risk deliveries
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and nursing best practices
• Support and educate nursing staff and patients

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Alaska
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Charge nurse experience preferred or willingness to train
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRPS
