Night shift, 3 shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Float RN will provide nursing care across various departments, including medically-surgical, telemetry, and emergency boarded patients. This role involves floating to units as needed to meet institution demands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient care, supporting staffing needs, and coordinating bed flow within the healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care for a diverse patient population.
• Float between units as required, adapting to various patient needs.
• Perform core charge nurse duties on smaller units, including staffing coordination and patient flow management.
• Monitor patient vitals and health status, interpreting dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications in accordance with protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Charge nurse experience is required.
• Experience in telemetry and cardiac care preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Must possess a valid RN license; a compact license is necessary upon submission.
