Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. This position requires experience in high-risk perinatal care within a Level III facility. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment and support a patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during labor and delivery, including assessments and interventions.
• Manage and assist with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and monitor fetal heart rates using EFM.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including CRNAs and surgical techs.
• Document care in the EPIC charting system efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at submission).
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
