X-Ray Technician

Assignment Duration

This is an 8-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, from 07:00 to 17:30. On-call required: 2 call shifts per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to provide high-quality imaging services in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various imaging modalities, demonstrate excellent patient care skills, and be comfortable with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of X-ray procedures, including abdominal, chest, and trauma imaging.
• Operates imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols and best practices.
• Provide quality patient care during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting using Epic.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician in an acute care setting.
• Certification required: ARRT (Radiography) and BLS.
• Washington State license required.
• Experience with trauma level I or II preferred.
• Familiarity with bedside procedures and fluoroscopy is a plus.
