This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts available: 5x8 Days (08:00 - 17:00) or 4x10 Days, with 2 weekend shifts required per month.

Job Description

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions aimed at restoring mobility and improving overall function.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and establish treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions to promote mobility and function.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Engage in patient and family education regarding care and rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Current BLS certification.
• Alaska PT License or Compact PT License required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
