Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend work is required as per facility needs, with a minimum of every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting while floating between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation facility.
• Monitor patient health and manage medications effectively.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams when necessary.
• Perform peripheral line care and management.
• Administer oxygen and manage non-invasive airway support.
• Implement isolation precautions and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess at least 1 year of nursing experience, with charge experience preferred.
• Valid Compact RN license required for submission.
• No COVID-19 vaccination is required; flu vaccine status is unknown.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
