Job Description

Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments, including performing treatment simulations, fabricating necessary shielding blocks, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR). Prepares equipment for patient treatments while performing quality control and assurance tests, ensuring proper infection control techniques, and adhering to optimal radiation safety and protection practices. All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives, and standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments.
• Conduct treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments and conduct quality control tests.
• Adhere to infection control techniques and radiation safety practices.
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of radiation experience - REQUIRED
• ARRT (T) certification - REQUIRED
• BLS (AHA) certification - REQUIRED
