Job Description

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure. Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, procedural support, hemodynamic monitoring, moderate-sedation recovery, and management of acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment committed to exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide education.
• Support procedural activities and ensure hemodynamic monitoring.
• Oversee moderate-sedation recovery and manage clinical situations effectively.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Telemetry experience required.
• Current RN License in New York.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Recent experience in Cath and EP Lab preferred.
• CVCU/Cardiac Care experience required.
