Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide care for patients in a dynamic healthcare environment, with a potential to float to various units, including J1-2, J33, and the ED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and ECG rhythm.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Float between assigned units as necessary to meet patient needs.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in a Med/Surg Tele specialty.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
