Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will observe each resident on a continuous basis, alert to changes in their mental and physical well-being. You will collaborate closely with the Supervisor and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality care is delivered to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record resident status, reporting significant changes to the Supervisor and physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation in the computerized health record system.
• Supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) and assist with resident care as needed.
• Participate in physician rounds and communicate residents’ medical needs.
• Perform wound care and manage medical equipment in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Conduct daily operational tasks, including checking appointments and ensuring staff adherence to health protocols.
• Admit, discharge, and transfer residents while completing necessary documentation.
• Communicate effectively with family members regarding resident care and updates.
• Serve as a leader on the unit, reporting issues and managing staff under the guidance of nursing leadership.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of recent nursing experience (within the last 6 months)
• IV certification required (must be obtained during onboarding if not already certified)
• Active and unrestricted RN license in New Hampshire
• COVID-19 vaccination is required (declinations/exemptions not accepted)
