Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM). Weekend call is required: 7 days per month, including 1 weekend (Friday-Sunday PM) and 1 additional day per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess sedation skills and have at least 2 years of experience in a comparable lab environment within a 250-bed facility. Candidates with experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) RN or Cath Lab RN are encouraged to apply. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred, with a hard stop if applying for an IR RN position.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide care in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Administer sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a Cath Lab or IR setting.
• Active RN license in the relevant state.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES, or CCI RCIS, NIHSS.
• Epic experience highly preferred.
