Med/Surg Tele RN

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour shift (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour shift (07:00 - 19:30) available. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide patient care with the potential to float to various units, including J1-2, J33, and the ED, while caring for the same patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care in a Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient vital signs and ECG rhythms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
• Document care provided in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be valid and in hand.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
