Emergency Department Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 1830 to 0700, working 12-hour shifts, 36 hours a week with the option to pick up additional shifts.

Job Description

This position is for an Emergency Department Nurse with a strong background in emergency care. The ideal candidate will possess a Washington State license or a multi-state license and will have completed mandatory verifications, including a 6-hour suicide training. Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and critical situations.
• Participate in patient assessments and care plan development.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Washington State license or multi-state license.
• Proof of completed 6-hour suicide training.
• Verification of demographics from Nursys.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
