Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience to join our Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and IV therapy. This position requires the ability to manage a diverse patient population with various diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, and manage central and peripheral lines.
• Provide non-invasive airway management and respiratory support as needed.
• Implement infection control measures and maintain isolation precautions as required.
• Collaborate with Rapid Response/Code teams during emergencies.
• Float to Med/Surg areas as necessary, demonstrating a strong Med/Surg background.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting.
• Must have BCLS certification; NIH certification preferred.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and work effectively with Rapid Response teams.
• Knowledge of IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration.
• Must be willing to float to various areas within the facility as needed.
