Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Progressive Care Unit team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, with a focus on patient-centered care, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor a 32-bed Progressive Care Unit.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments and progress in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Maintain a focus on infection prevention and patient safety.
• Assist with routine care for a variety of medical devices and patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in a Progressive Care Unit is highly preferred.
• Critical thinking and time management skills are essential.
