Schedule

Shift: 7A - 7P, with a guarantee of 48 hours. At least every 3rd weekend required.

Job Description

Join our dynamic 25-bed Medical Telemetry unit, providing exceptional care primarily for renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med-surg patients. We emphasize safety, quality care, and teamwork to uphold high standards of patient documentation and management processes related to central lines, Foley catheters, CLABSI, and other HAIs. Our unit fosters collaboration with a supportive staff, including charge nurses and techs available to assist with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs on a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments, following protocols and guidelines.
• Engage in daily Nurse Leader Rounds to enhance patient satisfaction and care quality.
• Maintain documentation compliance in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Assist with patient transfers and activities of daily living using equipment as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Kansas.
• ACLS, BLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certification required.
• Team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced skills in basic medical-surgical procedures.
