Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to provide exceptional care in a pediatric setting. The role involves operating treatment equipment, interacting with patients, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The therapist will work as part of a collaborative healthcare team, addressing patient needs with compassion and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed radiation oncologist protocols.
• Manage and operate specialized treatment equipment, including linear accelerators.
• Perform simulations and imaging required for treatment planning.
• Provide patient education and support throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Records system.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• ARRT certification and BLS required.
• Experience with Elekta treatment systems and patient safety protocols is preferred.
• Valid radiation therapy license in Texas.
