Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Observation Unit

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour shifts (06:00 - 18:00), with weekend requirement of 3 out of 6.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room Observation Unit team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in an observation setting, ensuring their safety and comfort while monitoring their conditions closely. This role may require floating to different areas within the facility, including the ER Hold patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient education and support throughout their stay.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency or observation unit.
• Valid California RN license (in hand).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC.
