Job Description

The Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. You will assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications, all within the registered nurse's scope of practice. Additionally, you will promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop nursing care plans
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications
• Establish patient care goals and provide education
• Maintain patient documentation and maintain high standards of care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of experience as a registered nurse
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Must possess a valid RN license
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers
