Job Description

The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will join a busy radiology department, performing a variety of imaging procedures including OR, Fluoroscopy, portable imaging, Emergency Department (ED) cases, and general X-rays. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in radiology and the capability to assist with various cases such as operational room cases and fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Assisting in OR and fluoroscopy cases as needed.
• Operating portable imaging devices and conducting exams in the ED.
• Maintaining patient care and safety throughout imaging procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Experience with Cerner Diagnostic Radiology systems is preferred.

Holiday Requirements

The selected candidate must be willing to work on 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
