MRI Technologist - Pediatric & Adult Imaging

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, 3x12-hour schedule, Monday to Wednesday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with expertise in pediatric and adult imaging. The ideal candidate will have experience with GE and Siemens MRI machines, knowledge about anesthesia, pediatric sedations, and being adept at handling ventilator ICU patients. Familiarity with conditional devices, including pacemakers and ICDs, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams on patients of all age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
• Conduct procedures with adherence to safety guidelines for conditional implants.
• Assist in emergencies and trauma situations, providing comprehensive imaging support.
• Utilize EPIC for effective patient management and documentation.
• Participate in holiday rotation and back-up call as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience is required.
• ARRT registration is necessary; MR or R certification preferred.
• ACLS, BLS certification required.
• Must have experience with imaging adults and pediatrics, including conditional devices.
• Previous experience in an acute care facility preferred.
