RN - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shift 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

The RN in Labor and Delivery will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor and delivery. The role includes circulating for C-sections and other critical procedures, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols, and delivering compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients throughout their labor and delivery process.
• Circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and follow hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current California RN license.
• ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card certifications required.
• Experience in a facility with a minimum of 200 deliveries per month preferred.
