Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Night 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing labor and delivery patients, including those with preterm labor and other OB-GYN complications.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for C-sections, assisting with high-risk deliveries.
• Post-operative care for OB-GYN surgeries.
• Patient assessment and management during labor and antepartum periods.
• Administration of medications, including blood products and pain management therapies.
• Participation in high-risk deliveries and stabilization of newborns in the transition nursery.
• Documentation of care in Epic electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active compact RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and ACLS (preferred).
• Epic experience is mandatory for documentation.
