Shifts available from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend rotations required.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide critical care and support to patients experiencing medical emergencies. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and performing various emergency procedures. This position requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in the ER.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Assist with emergency procedures such as intubations and conscious sedation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temp license not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
