Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinic Infusion

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Day 4x10-Hour shift from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM. Occasional Saturdays are required, with no Sunday shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and providing patient care in an outpatient infusion setting. This role includes monitoring patients for adverse reactions and educating patients and families about treatment protocols and side effects.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Provide patient and family education and support regarding treatment.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Float between associated campuses as required for appropriate assignments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient infusion or oncology, with chemo certification.
• Current BLS and Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) are required at the time of submission.
• An active NJ or Compact nursing license is required.
