Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in Labor and Delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their labor process. This role requires strong clinical skills, knowledge of fetal monitoring, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients during labor.
• Conduct cervical exams and manage medication titration as needed.
• Provide support for couplet care and assist in postpartum recovery.
• Utilize GE fetal monitoring equipment for patient assessment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of California.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple patients and work effectively under pressure.
