Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) - Rotating shifts may be required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele RN to join our team. This position involves providing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, with the potential to float to different units including J1-2, J33, and ED as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Med/Surg Tele nursing and be flexible with scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in nursing, preferably within one location.
• At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience is acceptable.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Must work at least every other holiday during the assignment.
