Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population on the assigned units. This role ensures quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care. The RN demonstrates performance aligned with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization while treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care for assigned units.
• Ensure quality care consistent with established standards.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and their families.
• Provide clinical support and assistance during low census periods as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from AHA.
• ACLS Certification from AHA.
• PALS Certification from AHA.
• TNCC or ATCN certification required.
• CPI or Equivalent preferred.
