Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery. This includes monitoring fetal heart rates, assisting with delivery, and providing post-delivery care to both mother and newborn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other surgical procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Document patient care and interactions in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current CA RN license.
• ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN certifications.
• LA Fire Card within the last 30 days.
