Schedule

Rotating shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Variability based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. The role includes potential floating to various units, including J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recording vital signs and medical histories.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as per protocols.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to create effective care plans.
• Utilize ECG rhythm recognition skills and participate in SafeMedicate training during orientation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months combined permanent experience as a Med/Surg Tele RN, with recent experience preferred.
• Active Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Positive reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applied for, within the last 12 months.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
