Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele Float Pool

This is a 13-week contract position with the potential for extension.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may vary based on operational needs.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Float Pool RN will provide nursing care across various units, specifically units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, catering to a med/surg tele patient population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to assigned patients across multiple departments.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs accurately.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Facilitate patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing.
• Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience, which can include travel assignments.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications required.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
