8-hour days, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

The Hospice Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care for terminally ill patients in their homes or nursing facilities, covering a service area that includes Harrison, Barbour, Upshur, Lewis, Taylor, Doddridge, and Wetzel counties. The nurse will work collaboratively with a small team of two Registered Nurses, managing 5-6 patient visits per day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients.
• Assist in pain management and symptom control.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient-centered care.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient tracking.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of hospice experience required.
• Current West Virginia RN license.
• BLS certification (AHA).
