Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This position requires a commitment to a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role is part of a 91-week contract with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours per week. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, adhering to the standards required by our facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in the ER department.
• Assess and triage patients based on medical need.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 24 months of recent ER nursing experience is required.
• Life support certifications must be current and obtained from AHA, ARC, or ASHI, including:
• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC
• Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions.
• Driver's license to verify residency is mandatory.
