Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule

This position requires a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates should be flexible with their availability, as shifts may vary from Sunday to Saturday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This is a critical role working with patients requiring advanced medical attention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Keep accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with recent work in the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications (ACLS and BLS) must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active RN license to practice, verified within the last 30 days.
• Ability to provide documentation for residency with a valid driver's license.
