General PCU Registered Nurse

Arizona (Note: AZ residents are not eligible for assignments in any Arizona facility)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7p - 7:30a) with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend assignments to be determined by the facility.

Job Description

This position requires an experienced General PCU Registered Nurse with chemotherapy certification and oncology training. The ideal candidate must be flexible regarding locations, shifts, and departments, as this will impact the speed of offer security.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the PCU setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to medical staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Valid RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
