Registered Nurse - Neuro Progressive Care Unit

This is a night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Progressive Care Unit team. This unit specializes in care for patients recovering from neuro-ortho surgeries and strokes, as well as telemetry and medical patients. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in a Neuro Progressive Care or telemetry unit is highly desirable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Location

This position is located in a designated healthcare facility in the area.
