Registered Nurse - MICU

Available in Martin North, South, Tradition area.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The ideal candidate will possess Epic experience and will be responsible for working at multiple facilities within a short distance.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures including arterial line management and ventilator care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of MICU experience required; 2 years preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Candidates must be nicotine free; a negative nicotine test is required.
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application.
