CVICU Registered Nurse - 3x12-Hour Day Shift

Day shifts, working 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CVICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cardiovascular intensive care, demonstrating the ability to manage complex patient cases, including fresh hearts and ventilated patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced CVICU environment.
• Monitor and manage patients post-op from cardiac surgery, including CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismax.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Float to all ICUs, PACU, and other IMC units as required.
• Participate in continuous education and development opportunities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current CVICU experience; SICU experience may be considered with training.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with devices such as arterial lines, chest tubes, and advanced cardiac monitoring.
