Certified Surgical Technologist - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 3x12 hour shifts, Days, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with holiday rotation and up to 1 weekend shift per 4-week schedule period.

Job Description

The Certified Surgical Technologist will be part of a dynamic team within a Level I Trauma Center, providing support in various surgical specialties including Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Robotics, and more. The role involves participating in a wide range of procedures while ensuring a high standard of care in a busy operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist in the transportation and positioning of patients prior to surgery.
• Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available and in proper condition.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations.
• Participate in the decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist is required.
• Experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases is highly preferred.
• Current certification from NBSTSA is required; NCCT certifications are not accepted.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must possess a radiation badge, provided by the agency.
