Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Day Shift

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, days from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM with holiday rotation and one weekend shift per 4-week schedule period.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic Main Operating Room team within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in various surgical specialties, including Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi), as well as Ortho and Trauma cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and surgical instruments.
• Support surgical teams by providing assistance during various cases including Ortho, Neuro, and Robotics.
• Participate in on-call duties as needed, with up to 4 call shifts per 4-week schedule period.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Certification from NBSTSA (MUSC does not accept NCCT) and BLS required.
• Experience in Neuro, ENT, and Robotics highly preferred.
• Radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency.
• South Carolina RN License preferred but not required at time of submission.
