PCU Registered Nurse - Nights

Schedule

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse to provide care for adult and geriatric patients. The RN will be responsible for a range of duties, including monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Provide telemetry monitoring for patients.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and collaborate with healthcare staff.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or a compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a PCU or telemetry setting.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS must be current.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with Community Charting System is required.
