Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Must work 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience and must have prior experience with the EPIC charting system. Responsibilities include providing care to both low and high-risk labor and delivery patients, including neonates, adolescents, and adults.

Responsibilities

• Use of External Fetal Monitoring and recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with other delivery procedures.
• Float to Perinatal unit if required.
• Participate in the care of patients in Triage, Labor and Delivery, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in California.
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced.
